Glassworks 2011 Christmas Party
On a cold and snowy Saturday in December, Glassworks brought some Gotham glamour to Gunthorpe by hosting their 2011 Christmas party in our very own Wayne Manor (for the night).
The bat phone rang and Glassworks employees from all over Europe heeded the call and swooped to protect the innocent... and to have some mince pies.
The fancy dress theme was 'be your own superhero' and the team didn't disappoint. The interpretation was creative and varied, somethimes unnervingly erotic... and in one case downright insulting! The packed dance floor saw the usual moves embellished with the swooshing of capes, the firing of 'lasers', and the mutual admiration only witnessed when men gather in tights.
At the annual feast and awards ceremony, CEO Hector Macleod addressed an ever growing assembly of X-Men and Women, from the London, Amsterdam and Barcelona offices and also from the Heartworks, Wireworks and Artworks teams.
The supervillans remained suspiciously absent (although at times felt as though Dan Hope has as many hands Dr. Octopus), leaving our mild-mannered alter-egos only to battle hangovers in the morning...
