Grey London takes an unexpected, controversial and interestingly effective tack in this new campaign for America Online UK.

The two sixty second films "Bad" and "Good" demonstrate the respective cons and pros of the Internet. "Bad" discusses the dark side of the internet, how it can be responsible for fraud, identity theft and distribution of pornography. "Good" concentrates on the positive elements, its amazing ability to educate and act as a medium for charities to receive donations. Similar imagery is utilised in both ads, yet with a completely opposing slant.

The idea is to encourage internet users to think about the use of and the moral arguments behind the medium. At the end of both pieces it suggests that we make our own comments at a special website: AOL/discuss.

Tareq Kubaisi at Glassworks graded both ads, followed by a week in Flame with Jake Montgomery to give a flawless look to the finished work.
