The third and final ad in this series promoting Bank of Ireland features the most fearful fairytale creature of them all, the Dragon.

In-keeping with the theme of the series, there’s nothing to worry about with this mythical beast, who seems pretty genial for a huge, fire-breathing monster and is more inclined to play rock-paper-scissors and discuss banking than eat the brave warriors that come to slay him. He even manages to burn his dragon ‘fingers’ with his fiery breath, not directed at his visitor, St George (who he’s on high-five terms with!) but as a result of politely covering his nose when he sneezes.

Rory Kelleher had his vision of the Dragon drawn up so that Ruediger could build and texture it in 3D. The completed creature was rigged by Alastair Hearsum, giving it the ability to move. Alastair also animated it alongside Jon and Marco, and Will tracked the final product. This was all followed by a complicated composite by the two Duncans and Warren in Flame.
