4 Creative bring us an alternative day at the races with this ad for Channel 4's teletext service.

The viewer is taken on an arty interactive journey through Goodwood. We start at the main entrance, heading speedily up the path and across the parade ring, surrounded by sounds from the general hubbub of the day. After whizzing through the jockey's quarters and the betting stands we witness the horses flying off the start line, closely followed by the finish, the winner's presentation and finally the scoreboard.

Those with Channel 4 Teletext don't need to bother with the whole rigmarole of attending Goodwood, however. They can just pick up the information they need on their TV. Pretty handy for those who fancy a flutter.

Unsurprisingly the post production process at Glassworks was complex. A single camera move was created to 'fly through' a series of carefully cut out and positioned photographs that create an impressionistic view of the scenes at Goodwood. Hours of painstaking matte cutting, careful placement of 2D 'flat' objects within a 3D space which makes the viewer feel like they're flying through an elaborate theatre stage set. Some of the 'flat' images were brought to life with occasional 3D objects and animated flourishes.
