Egg and Mother have come up trumps again with the first
TV commercial in an extension of their kooky poster campaign.
The new forty second spot is a witty take on the age-old controversial
'animal testing' issue.
The audience is given a sneaky peek at Egg's "research lab",
where they test their credit card on Guinea Pigs dressed in
human clothing, making their purchases in a tiny rodent world
built by the dodgy 'Euro-scientists'.
The interior lab elements were shot on green screen, then
the Flame team composited in a 3D model city built by Adam
Leary. Textures were simplified in the Cityscapes to give
an impression of an unsophisticated, purpose-built guinea
pig environment. Finally, two weeks were spent in Flame* painstakingly
compositing Guinea Pigs' heads onto the human bodies dressed
in Guinea Pig suits.
The result is a really fun, watchable ad that's bound to be
a hit with consumers. |
