Glassworks scoops first ever Escape award!

Against strong competition, Glassworks was the first company to be awarded the coveted Escape award for CG in commercials in an award ceremony held at Tate Modern on 27 March 2008.

Presented by Lord Puttman, the ad for Ford Flexifuel promoted Ford's alignment with the international concern for the environment by working to lower carbon emissions by 75 %. The beautiful imagery without a vehicle in sight made for a visually stunning and truly unique commercial.

The Glassworks team involved in the project included Vaclav Cizkovsky, Alastair Hearsum, Daniel Jahnel, Vincent Thomas and Noel Hocquet, who spent 5 weeks creating the fully CG twin polar bears alone. The Elephant and Dolphin were scanned and then tracked over the shot footage to make the body parts and give each foetus life.
