These four commercials for the latest Ford Fiesta demonstrate the car's superior intelligence when juxtaposed with an inadvisably inquisitive 'Dogbot'.

Each ad shows us a different element of the ingenious engineering that has gone into the design of the new Fiesta. In 'Moon", the sleeping Dogbot wakes up to a bright white moon above him. He decides to investigate and jumps onto it, digging his metal teeth in and pulling it out of the sky, landing on the ground with a bump. Completely unfazed by being left in the pitch black the clever Fiesta switches on its light sensitive headlights.

In 'Bath', once more our stupid Dogbot finds something else he shouldn't be meddling with. He launches himself into a tank of water and suffers a painful electrocution. Fiesta coolly removes the splash back on its windscreen with its rain sensitive wipers. 'Gramophone' and 'Hydrant' illustrate its built in MP3 connectivity and Bluetooth Voice Control respectively.

The Dogbot was designed completely from scratch at Glassworks in a direct collaboration with the Brownlee brothers. The 3D department spent a number of weeks building, texturing and animating the creature. Alastair attended the four day shoot in preparation for rigging and tracking the mechanical canine alongside Tony Landais. Andreas was chiefly responsible for the lighting and rendering and its final construction.
