Glassworks 3D department has recently finished work on the latest ad for Ford Mondeo. Lead by Head of 3D Alastair Hearsum and 3D operator James Mann, the team was able to develop photo-realistic fish ‘hybrids’. Drawing inspiration from rare documentary footage of mysterious and at times terrifying sea creatures, our operators animated the fish in a sequence that illustrates how important propulsion has always been in the fight for survival.

The spot was directed by Stuart Douglass and Tom Sparks composited the supplied 3D renders for a seamless, beautiful final product.
