Agency Proximity London, director John O'Driscoll and Glassworks
have created another set of Coronation Street sponsorship
idents and break bumpers in the popular series for Harveys
furniture store.
This time the spots focus on the cutesy salt and pepper
pots from the Corrie watching family's kitchen, who are
being utilised as an anchor for our action man, who is carefully
lowering himself down from the dining table to get a good
view of the telly. The salt and pepper King and Queen teeter
on the edge as he lands on the floor and peers through his
binoculars.
A number of five second spots play out various scenarios,
including the same doll scrabbling up Dad's coat sleeve
to hide and a cheeky little bottom tap between the pottery
couple.
Once again, each object was built, animated and rendered
by the Glassworks 3D team. They were then carefully composited
into the shots by Aleks in Smoke, which also allowed the
edit to be tweaked once the 3D elements were in place.
