The spotlights blaze, the music swells, there's electricity
in the air ... it's Showtime!
John Mathieson's exciting new spot see's the exuberant
side of Kylie Minogue bursting onto stage to launch KM2
"Showtime", her dazzling new fragrance.
We sent our top man to Paris, by night, to photograph the
Place Vendome. From these 100's of photographs, Glassworks
re-created the Place Vendome into a virtual world, giving
us total freedom to place Kylie in situ. The "disco" cube
was entirely created in 3D under the supervision of James
Mann and Kylie herself was shot against grey (to maintain
absolute detail) and incidental flash lighting was used
to help composite her into her virtual background.
The whole project was carefully composited by Duncan Horn
in Flame where additional lighting effects were added to
enhance the excitement and energy of the spot.
