These two ads aim to encourage those who feel they have a
gap in their careers to re-educate themselves using the Learn
Direct Advice Line.
In 'Fitter', a carpenter yearns to be an engineer, feeling
uninspired and unfulfilled by his task of cutting wood to
size. In 'PA', a woman tires of the mundane chores of delivering
mail and photocopying, staring wistfully at her boss on a
business call. The gaping hole they have to fill is represented
by a jigsaw piece cut into the side of their bodies.
Happily, they both call the Learn Direct Advice Line, and
the final piece of the jigsaw fits perfectly into place as
they continue their lives with job satisfaction. Finally,
they are complete.
Two and a half weeks were spent in Flame and 3D at Glassworks,
making the holes in the characters' bodies look completely
convincing throughout the ad. The 3D department designed the
jigsaw pieces and tracked them onto the bodies ready for the
boys in Flame to composite. Clean plates of backgrounds were
shot for the holes in the bodies and seamlessly integrated
into the live action. |
