Another two ads in the campaign for Learn Direct careers advice line see a budding chef and photographer finding their dream jobs and filling the gap in their lives.
In “Scallop”, a young woman is tired of working in a back street café. Once again the elusive final piece of the jigsaw cut into the side of her body signals her job dissatisfaction, the piece missing from her life. She wants to work as a real chef, not spend her time heating things up in a microwave. “Snapper” sees an office worker having the same problem, not wanting to be photocopying, but photographing. Both phone Learn Direct for careers advice and eureka! they get the jobs they’ve always dreamed of. The gaping hole is filled.
Two weeks were spent in Flame and 3D at Glassworks, making the holes in the characters' bodies look completely convincing throughout the ads. The 3D department designed the jigsaw pieces and tracked them onto the bodies ready for the boys in Flame to composite. Clean plates of backgrounds were shot for the holes in the bodies and seamlessly integrated into the live action. |
