“Here we go”, thinks the viewer... “Another ad for some poncey perfume”...

...In actual fact this stunning commercial shot by Stacey Wall at Epoch is for the Florence and Fred clothing range at Tesco, but doesn’t give itself away until the very last second.

A beautiful girl gallops across beautiful landscapes on a beautiful horse getting jolly mucky in the process. Her white dress is all very ethereal, but not a very practical choice of outfit for a sunset hack through muddy woods and fields! Her thoroughly splattered self arrives at a sensational country house bedecked with twinkly lights, ties up her horse and – shock horror - strips off and wipes her filthy legs with the very dress she was sporting. She reaches into her saddlebag, pulls out an identical frock and wanders into the party fresh as a daisy.

The moral of the story: When you’re buying from the Florence and Fred range at Tesco, you can afford a spare...

After Tareq’s grade, Mike Skragatic at Glassworks performed a general clean up and added lots of mud splotches and sky replacements. Some tracking was also carried out by Mike Woolf in 3D.
