Building on a long established relationship, LynnFox and Glassworks have once again teamed up to create a stunning, ethereal piece for the new Yohji Yamamoto fragrance. Taking their cue from the print campaign, the directing trio successfully brought fantasy to life in a remarkable combination of 3D and Compositing effects. The viewer watches as the fragrance blushes from beneath the model's skin, blossoming through the surface and ultimately enveloping her completely.

A team of Trackers took on the crucial and painstaking task of rotoscoping the live-action - allowing the 3D Animators to lock the CG elements to the models form. James Mann modelled and textured an extensive library of photo-realistic 3D flowers. LynnFox then worked closely with the 3D team to determine final placement and disclosure of the flowers. Working side by side with the 3D Animators, Lead Compositors Ludo Fealy and Duncan Horn created the tattoo effect on the skin consisting of almost 750 layers of flower elements. Rendering the plates at 4K meant a minimal resolution loss when wrapping the layers around the 3D model. Glassworks' software developer, Peter Reilly, applied his expertise in smoke systems to produce the cloud hat.
